San Pantaleo

Nestling at the foot of spectacular rocky mountains just south of the Costa Smeralda, lies the sleepy Sardinian town of San Pantaleo. Its quaint houses surround a lovely piazza, dominated by the church, where a classical dance festival is held every summer with world class participants.

This fascinating town has enchanted many people, including artists, to take up residence there. The locals are famed for their craftsmanship, wrought ironwork, pottery, paintings etc., as well as for their restaurants.

The steep granite outcrops offer exciting free-climbing opportunities for the experienced climbers.

In the valley below, there are numerous houses dispersed in the countryside, enjoying a rich natural landscape as well as the closeness to the glamour of Porto Cervo and the fabulous beaches of the Costa Smeralda.
