Sa Conca

Sa Conca was the very first condominium to be built on the costa Smeralda and is considered to be one of architect Michele Busiri Vici’s best works of art. With its dominant position above the church, its soft curves and its pastel colours, it is easily identifiable and makes a historic landmark in Porto Cervo. In fact you will always find it represented in all photographic reports of the Costa Smeralda.

Sa Conca offers its inhabitants breath-taking views over the whole bay of Porto Cervo, both the new Marina and the old port, the islands of the La Maddalena archipelago and even Corsica on clear days. You will easily sit for hours on your terrace watching the constant coming and going of yachts in and out of the harbour.

At street level beneath the arches, you will find a row of shops, an excellent pastry shop, a good restaurant and a first-aid centre. Sa Conca, Hotel Luci di la Muntagna, also by the same architect, together with the Stella Maris church, form what may be called the “Busiri Vici Quarter”.

The apartments are on different levels, descending the hill and the lower homes have an easy access from the church below, where you can conveniently leave the car. There is a live-in custodian on the premises.

Sa Conca has a particularly good position, with excellent views and is quiet, being out of the bustling village, but close enough to comfortably walk down to, without having to take the car.
